The 33-year-old Barbadian immigrant has spent exactly $10 million to PᴜгϲҺаꜱе the home next door to the residence she PᴜгϲҺаꜱе three months ago for $13.8 million.
Though she is still best known for her anthemic global mega-hits (“We Found Love,” “Umbrella,” “Rude Boy,” and “Disturbia”), Rihanna’s recent wealth еᶍρlоꜱion is due to her forays into the lucrative cosmetics industry, where she co-owns the wildly popular Fenty Beauty brand with LVMH, and the apparel industry, where her Savage x Fenty lingerie brand is reportedly now worth an astounding $1 ƅιIIιоn.
Rihanna’s most recent residential PᴜгϲҺаꜱе was never on the open market, but according to tax documents, the gated property features a four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home with approximately 3,500 square feet of living space. The half-acre estate was last sold to a non-famous couple in 2015 for “just” $5.1 million, so the vendors nearly doubled their money when they sold it to Rihanna, minus the cost of taxes and any renovations.
Photos from 2015 indicate that the house is a luxurious, if not particularly exciting, Tudor-style structure with formal living and dining rooms, an eat-in kitchen that opens to the family room, and a large backyard with an oversized swimming pool set below a terraced patch of grassy lawn.
Rihanna presides over a total of one acre of land, with over 11,000 square feet of living space, two swimming pools, and off-street parking for at least ten vehicles, between this and the adjacent property.
The master suite on the upper level features a sitting area and a private veranda.
There is also a separate guesthouse with a complete bedroom suite on the garage’s roof.
There is space for private outdoor entertaining in the backyard. A brick patio is served by a built-in barbecue.
In addition to her $23.8 million Beverly Hills estate, Rihanna also possesses a $6.8 million villa in the Hollywood Hills, a mansion in her native Barbados, and a high-floor apartment in Los Angeles’ Wilshire Corridor. However, her primary residence, at least for the time being, remains a $5.2 million condo unit in the exclusive The Century condo complex in Century City.
