Sean “Diddy” Combs’ $40 million LA-area mansion was raided by the US Department of Homeland Security in connection with the rapper’s recent investigation
On Monday afternoon, police were searching rapper and record producer Sean “Diddy” Combs’ multimillion-dollar house in West Los Angeles’ Holmby Hills district.
According to individuals who spoke to NBC News, search warrants were carried out by Homeland Security Investigations at Combs’ Miami home and LA mansion.
Another person with knowledge of the situation told NBC News that the raid might be connected to a potential sеx trafficking inquiry. According to the source, the Southern District of New York has conducted interviews with three Jane Does and one John Doe about sеx trafficking, sexuаl аssаult, the soliciting and sale of illegаl Ԁrugs, and fireаrm-related offenses.
Three more Jane Does are slated for interviews, the insider added.
Newschopper 4 flew overhead as armed and protective personnel surrounded the home. A few of them had on jackets bearing their affiliation with Homeland Security Investigations.
Federal agents were visible visiting the Florida home concurrently with the raid on the LA estate, according to footage from Miami Los Angeles.
Law enforcement sources acquainted with the warrant serving said that Combs was in the Miami region when the raids occurred.
Sources claim that when Combs was about to leave for a trip to the Bahamas, investigators also took his phones. It was not immediately apparent how many phones or gadgets were taken into custody.
The Homeland Security confirmed the raid in a statement, saying, “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.”
A lady has filed a complaint against Combs, claiming that Combs and two other me𝚗 sexually assaulted her 20 years ago when she was 17 in a recording studio in New York City.
The lady is the fourth person to file a complaint accusing Combs of sexuаl аssаult; her identity was withheld from the court filing.
According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff met Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment record label head Harve Pierre in a lounge in 2003 while she was a high school student in the eleventh grade at a suburban Detroit school.
She claimed that after being flown to New York on a private plane by Pierre, she was brought to a recording studio and given medications and alcоhоl until she was unable to provide consent for sexuаl activity. The lawsuit then claimed that she was rаped by Pierre, Combs, and an unidentified guy in turn.
Photographs of the woman sitting on Combs’ lap that she claimed were taken that night at the Daddy’s House Recording Studio were included in the complaint.
54-year-old Combs refuted the accusations.
