Floyd Mayweather Jr. lives in a fancy Miami Beach house and has ‘nothing but money’

Its interiors are modern. and covers an area of almost 10,000 square feet. Nine bedrooms may be found.  Floyd Mayweather Jr., a retired boxing champion, just spent $18 million on a stunning new waterfront mansion near Miami Beach.

The nine-bedroom, 10½-bathroom home was most recently listed for $19.9 million after first asking $21.8 million in 2016.The 10,853-square-foot spans three stories with a 5,000-square-foot rooftop deck.The sellers of the house were former Morgan Stanley managing director Candido Viyella and his wife, Anabella, who had the house built in 2011.

The modern three-story property is located on Palm Island, a gated, premium neighborhood in the city. According to statistics from realtor.com, the average asking price for a home there in July was $21M, a staggering 200% rise from the same period in 2020.

It has an indoor movie theater, a gym, a game room and an entertainment area, according to the listing.

After earning $915M over a decade, Mr. Mayweather, 44, was named the highest-paid athlete of the decade by Forbes in 2019. According to property records, he bought the home last week using a Nevada limited liability business of which he serves as manager.
