According to statistics from realtor.com, the average asking price for a home there in July was $21M, a staggering 200% rise from the same period in 2020. After earning $915M over a decade, Mr. Mayweather, 44, was named the highest-paid athlete of the decade by Forbes in 2019. According to property records, he bought the home last week using a Nevada limited liability business of which he serves as manager. 

According to the listing with Dina Goldentayer and Ana Viyella of Douglas Elliman, who refused to comment on the transaction, his opulent new property measures 10,853 square feet and offers unhindered views of the city skyline, passing cruise ships, and the coveted city sunset.

The nine-bedroom estate was meant to be used for both indoor and outdoor recreation, according to the description. Along with sleek, contemporary furniture, it features an elevator, smart home technologies, a game room, a gym, an indoor movie theater, and a large entertainment area.  A roof deck, a pool, a four-car garage, and a private dock for boats up to 100 feet are all features.
