The Century’s largest mansion, covering the entire 40th floor with a view not everyone can have, is owned by Rihanna
After many years of hard work, Rihanna owns the most expensive apartment in the world, a view that not everyone wants to have.
The apartment was sold by billionaire co-founder of the technology business Afterpay Nick Molnar, who had originally asked for $28 mιllιon. However, Rihanna negotiated a significant reduction and probably used L.A.’s mansion tax as leverage because the рurchase was finalized on March 31, only one day before the new tax went into effect. Molnar would have owing an extra $1.1 mιllιon in taxes if the рurchase had been completed in April.
Visitors are astounded by the curving wall of floor to ceiling windows in the living room, which boasts views of the city skyline, as soon as they step off the private elevator landing into the condo’s entrance gallery. The dining area has dark brown hardwood floors that flow into the all-white kitchen, which has marble countertops, two islands, and high-end appliances.
A soundproof movie theater with velour couches is also on the property, along with a master suite with a curved bedroom, two custom closets, two bathrooms, and a separate lounge. The condo’s four distinct outdoor terraces, which face north, south, east, and west and offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Island, Downtown Los Angeles skyscrapers, the San Gabriel mountains, and even snow-capped Mount Baldy, are probably its most impressive features.
