A few days before the 2022 Տᴜpег Bowl Halftime Show, Snoop Dogg bought ԀеатҺ Row Records, the record label that had helped launch his career and bring him to prominence in the early 1990s.
One of the most critically acclaimed Halftime performances took place on February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, with the 50-year-old performing alongside Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent. Of course, there were also classic automobiles present.
He’s leaving the rap game to return to his first love: restoring classic automobiles. This lovely 1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III is now fitted with a Bentley interior and comes in a striking mint hue. Since working with the custom auto upholstery shop Stitched By Slick on his 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, Snoop Dogg enlisted their services once again for this venture.
The outcome was satisfactory to both the rapper and the record executive, who praised the car’s beige and brown leather seats. The vintage car has what look to be gold Cubano-forged Amani Forged Wheels. Even the seatbelt, which appears to be a Gucci design, attests to the vehicle’s high level of elegance.
To honor Snoop’s late mother Beverly, who passed away in October 2021, a 10″ P3 Rockford Fosgate subwoofer can be found in the trunk. On it he wrote, “Mama, thank you for having me,” and, “Thank you, God, for giving me an Angel for a mother.” The album Algorithm, which Snoop released recently, is also referenced.
This beautifully restored 1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III is perfect for Snoop Dogg and his image.
